AxFlow Oceania, part of AxFlow Group and Axel Johnson International, has acquired Professional Pump Services and Irrigation (PPS), strengthening its service capabilities and presence in Australia.
The acquisition represents an important step in supporting the continued growth and development of AxFlow’s operations across the Australian market, particularly in North Queensland.
For more than 20 years, Professional Pump Services and Irrigation has built a strong reputation serving customers across North Queensland with pumping, irrigation and water management solutions. Through its established industry relationships and experience, PPS has developed a strong foundation in providing solutions to meet the needs of its customers.
PPS will continue operating under its existing management team, working closely with AxFlow to support the ongoing growth and development of the business.
Strengthening service capabilities and local expertise
PPS brings more than two decades of industry experience and established customer relationships to the AxFlow Oceania network. Its knowledge of pumping, irrigation and water management solutions provides a valuable addition to AxFlow’s existing capabilities in fluid handling.
The acquisition supports AxFlow’s strategy of strengthening its service offering and technical capabilities across Australia, while building on the local expertise and relationships that have contributed to PPS’s success.
By combining PPS’s established presence in North Queensland with AxFlow’s broader organisation, the partnership creates opportunities to further develop service, spare parts and technical support capabilities.
Opportunities for continued growth and development
The acquisition provides a strong foundation for PPS to continue developing its offering, supported by AxFlow’s international network, resources and experience in fluid handling.
Key opportunities include:
- Expanded service and technical capabilities: Further strengthening service, spare parts and technical support to better support customers.
- Broader market reach: Access to AxFlow’s established organisation and international network, creating opportunities for further growth across Australia.
- Stronger supplier partnerships: Building on existing supplier relationships while benefiting from the resources and stability of a larger international group.
- Long-term business development: Supporting continued investment in operational excellence, systems, expertise and customer service.
The partnership brings together PPS’s established local knowledge and customer relationships with AxFlow’s broader technical expertise and international resources, providing a platform for sustainable business development.
Continuity and commitment to customers and suppliers
Maintaining the relationships and service standards that PPS has built over more than 20 years remains an important priority.
PPS will continue operating under its existing management team, with a continued focus on supporting its customers and suppliers. The acquisition is intended to build on the business’s existing strengths while providing access to additional resources and opportunities through AxFlow.
There are no anticipated changes to existing supplier relationships or purchasing activities, and PPS will retain its existing ABN, bank account details and operational contacts.
With the support of AxFlow Oceania, PPS is well positioned to build on its established presence in North Queensland while contributing to the continued development of AxFlow’s service capabilities across Australia.
